Shuai Wang holds a Master's degree in Economics from the Graduate School of the People's Bank of China (now the PBC School of Finance at Tsinghua University). He used to do A-share buyer research at CPIC Fund Management Co., Ltd, followed by research work on Hong Kong stocks raw materials and commodity industry at UBS Asia, BNP Paribas Asia and Bank of America Merrill Lynch Asia respectively. Currently he works in Hong Kong Stocks Research Department of Huatai Securities Research Institute. He was, for many times, ranked the first and second in Basic Materials and Metal Mining of China's Institutional Investors Ranking in 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2018. And his team won the first place, second place and fourth place in Basic Materials of Asia’s Institutional Investors Ranking between 2013 and 2015.

Echo Xu is responsible for covering China’s recovered paper market. Since joining the UMPaper Shanghai office in 2014, she has earned a great reputation for her coverage of the turmoil in the recovered paper sector, and is now a regular speaker at industry events. Echo holds a master degree in pulp and paper engineering from Dalian Polytechnic University.
Mr. Austin is an experienced industrial consultant with an extensive background within the pulp & paper and power generation industries, with current emphasis in the recovered fiber industry in North America. In conjunction with his consulting service agreement with Moore & Associates, Mr. Austin is active in the development of recycled fiber market pulp mills in the U.S.
Prior to starting his own consulting company, Mr. Austin held senior management Sales & Marketing positions with company’s such as Mo och Domsjo, AB, Willamette Industries, Georgia Pacific and Gottesman Central National.
Mr. Austin holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts.
Mr. Ken Huang is currently employed as the Strategy General Manager of Shanying International and is responsible for group strategy planning, as well as the implementation of strategic projects such as expansion growth and business model innovation.
Before joining Shanying International, Mr. Huang has nearly 20 years of management consulting experience, specializing in company strategy, business model, operation model and digital transformation.
Mr. Huang holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
Levi Li joined RISI Shanghai Representation office in January, 2008, as the Asian Key Account Manager - Pulp and Paper, managing all commercial activities of RISI’s pulp and paper service within the Asian territory. In March, 2012, Levi Li was appointed General Manager of RISI China, overseeing all RISI services in China, ranging from data and information business, event business, as well as consulting business.
Prior to RISI, Levi Li was CEO of UMPaper (Shanghai Leadway E-commerce Co., Ltd.) – the leading local pulp and paper market information provider, from January, 2007 to June, 2007. Levi Li started his career in China pulp and paper industry starting from January 2004, with his first job at Sinar Mas Group (APP China), and had been taking different roles as business analyst, sales executive, and market intelligence manager.
Levi Li holds a master degree in business administration from Fudan University, Shanghai, and now lived in Shanghai with the family.
Mr. Li serves in the local government regulatory department and has been engaged in the inspection of import and export textile products, pulp and paper goods identification and authentication, as well as laboratory management. Currently he is a member of National Professional Committee of Pulping and Papermaking Technology Standardization (TC141) and a member of Professional Committee of Commodity Inspection by Inspection Organization of China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS). He is also the Head of Research Project on Solid Waste Property Identification Technology of 2019HK008-Imported Waste Paper (Recycled Fiber) Pulp in General Administration of Customs.

Melissa Chen joined UMPaper at RISI Beijing Office as senior packaging paper analyst in 2011. She covers pricing and end-uses for packaging paper and board in China, with a focus on containerboard and cartonboard grades.
Prior to UMPaper, Melissa worked for Guangdong Lee & Man Paper and Dongguan Jintian Paper. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Pulp and Paper from Shaanxi University of Science and Technology in China.

Sampsa carries out cost competitiveness analysis of pulp, paper and packaging mills as part of Fastmarkets RISI’s Mill Intelligence team. In addition to cash manufacturing costs, he also specializes in investment and capital cost estimates and has contributed to various studies on graphic paper machine conversions, risk of closure, and specialty papers. Prior to joining Fastmarkets RISI, he worked in various manufacturing and R&D positions at pulp and paper mills in both Latin America and Europe. He holds a Master’s Degree in Pulp and Paper Technology from Finland.
Shailesh Shankar Gothal
Shailesh Gothal is heading Paper Division for Gemini Corporation NV, a leading Belgium – Europe based company in sourcing & distribution of recyclable Paper, Plastics, Metal & Rubber. Shailesh is responsible for development of new markets and growth of the Paper division. Prior to Paper division, Shailesh held Chief Technology Officer Position for Gemini Corporation NV. He is having over 19 years of experience in the Recycling Industry with insights about the process and impacts on transactions.
Tang Yanju holds a Master Degree in Industrial Economics from Central University of Finance and the title of Economics and Senior Economist. She serves as Deputy Secretary General of China Resource Recycling Association, Secretary General of Waste Paper Branch and Secretary General of Industrial Innovation Cooperation Unit. She took the lead in compiling industrial standards such as Classification Standard of Recovered Paper (SBT11058-2013), Establishment and Management Specification of Green Recyclable Resource Sorting Center and spearheaded in many national-level projects commissioned by the Ministry of Commerce, National Development and Reform Commission and Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, as well as projects of regional recyclable resource system planning.
